Welcome to Wangberg Media

Hello and thank you for visiting my Substack.

I’ve been a freelance journalist on-and-off for more than one decade, with my main focus being on the entertainment industry. I’ve reviewed thousands of movies, plays, books, and other events in my time. I’ve also had the opportunity to interview some pretty well-known people in the industry.

Here are some names you might recognize: Kevin Bacon, Sean Astin, Maisie Williams, Cary Elwes, Gina Carano, and Lou Diamond Phillips. Those are just a few of the hundreds of people I’ve interviewed over the years. All great people, all wonderful conversations.

For Wangberg Media, I want to have the same great conversations. But I want to branch out to more than just people in one industry. I like to think of my approach as Joe Rogan Experience but for Substack. I want to interview people from all walks of life and get their backgrounds, listen to fascinating stories they have to tell, and be able to share those stories with you.

These will be in narrative format, as opposed to a full transcript. I find that approach to be much easier to digest for readers. It may change in the future, or it may remain the same. Only time will tell.
