Sean BW Parker | Understanding the Culture Wars

How woke-ism is failing, the increasing popularity of President Trump, and how technology has superseded proper political discussion.
2

When we think of cultural shifts that have occurred in the last 100 years, there are two decades that stand out as the most impactful and most influential – for better or worse. The 1960s saw a lot of change that has continuously long-lasting effects on our society, and the 1980s – which saw the rise of Reagan conservatism throughout America and still serves as influence for many in the political realm. There’s no denying that now, in 2025, and even before then, America and the world have seen a cultural change influenced by those in power and will shape and form how the next generation of leaders prepare to take the mantle.

My guest today is Sean BW Parker, who is a man who wears many hats from being a teacher and a musician, to being a writer and cultural critic. In this interview, we discuss how the current culture comes across as more divisive than ever before, how those with opposing and unpopular views should express themselves without the feared repercussions, and his book, “A Delicate Balance of Reason – Adventures in the Culture War.”

You can find out more about Sean by visiting his LinkTree page, which links to his numerous accounts (X, Amazon, etc.). I hope you enjoy this conversation.
